Data & Account Deletion
Your data is yours. You can permanently delete your account and all your entries in a few taps.
Deleting your account is irreversible. All your entries in the cloud and on your phone are permanently deleted. If you want a copy first, do the “Download my data” step before deleting.
Deleting from inside the app
Open the Profile tab
Open Nenni and go to the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
(Optional) Download your data
If you want to keep a copy before deleting, export it with Profile → Download my data.
Tap “Delete account”
Go to Profile → Delete account. If your account has an email linked, you confirm with the 6-digit code we send you; if not, you confirm by typing “DELETE”.
Confirm
When you confirm, your account and all your data are permanently deleted from the cloud and from your phone. This is also how you withdraw the explicit consent you gave for cloud backup.
What gets deleted?
Deleted
- Baby profiles, their photos and all measurements
- Feeding, sleep, diaper, vaccine and medication entries
- Health notes, the postpartum mood journal and Edinburgh scale results
- Assistant chats, sleep analysis results and AI usage records
- Your notification tokens, your marketing list record and your email address
- The copy in the cloud and the copy on your phone
- Your invite & caregiver links
Note
- Simply uninstalling the app does not delete your data — the cloud copy stays.
- Entries you added to someone else’s baby are that baby’s history: they aren’t deleted and stay with the baby’s owner. Health notes you haven’t shared are deleted.
- Profiles of babies you’re a caregiver for, and their owners’ entries, aren’t affected.
- If you’re a baby’s owner, deleting your account deletes the baby and all its entries, including those the caregivers added; the caregivers lose access.
- If you gave consent, the usage events and weekly statistics collected are not linked to your account and so are not deleted; ask by email if you want them deleted.
- Records the service providers hold (for example purchase records at RevenueCat, Apple or Google) aren’t deleted automatically.
Deleting data without deleting your account
If you don’t want to delete your whole account, you can delete any entry one by one inside the app: tap the entry (feeding, sleep, diaper, measurement, health note, medication, etc.) → Delete. The entry you delete is permanently removed from the cloud and from your phone. To delete all the entries of one baby, you can delete that baby’s profile from the edit screen; your account and your other babies aren’t affected (the profile photo file may stay in storage until you delete your account). The delete-chat button in the Assistant removes only the copy on your phone; the copy on our server is deleted when you delete the baby or the account.
If you can’t access the app
If you changed phones or can’t get into the app, you can also send your deletion request by email. From the email address linked to your account, write to hi@mugurc.com; after we verify your identity, we’ll complete your request within 30 days at the latest. If your account has no email linked (an anonymous account), we may not be able to verify your identity; in that case you need to use the app to delete.
